Dry-Ice-blasting is a form of carbon dioxide cleaning, where the solid form of carbon dioxide,
(Dry-Ice) is accelerated in a pressurized air stream and directed at a surface in order to clean it.
This unique technique is similar to other forms of abrasive blasting such as sand blasting, plastic bead blasting, or soda media blasting but substitutes dry ice as the blasting medium. Dry-ice blasting leaves no chemical residue due to its immediate evaporation.
This method is specially designed for applications around electrical components, motors, control panels along with other areas like food processing, packaging, graffiti removal and many more.
Benefits of using Cryogenic (Dry-Ice) Technology is that the dry ice pellets instantly vaporize upon contact. This technology is non-conductive and less abrasive than sand and won’t pit or damage the surface.
Dry-Ice Blasting can be used in the most tedious areas and in some applications it can also replace steam and water blasting with little or no post cleanup which saves on critical downtime.
